of Amnesia are shrouded in mystery. Although several stories about the

strain’s beginnings have made the rounds, it’s commonly thought that she

has her roots on the West Coast in the US, where breeder David Paul

Watson bred the original from Thai, Hawaiian, Jamaican, and Afghani

landraces in the early 1990s.
